Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ: FAQ

Can That Game Truck come to my house?

Yes. Our skilled drivers can navigate most streets and driveways as long as the area is not too steep or unsafe. If your driveway or street is not a good fit, we can usually set up at a nearby park, church, parking lot, community center, or other approved location. We just need up to 55 feet of cleared, fairly flat space for the game truck setup.

What time should I make the party?

We recommend telling your guests that the party starts 30 minutes to 1 hour before That Game Truck is scheduled to arrive. That gives everyone time to eat, settle in, and be ready for the gaming experience when we pull up.

What time will you arrive?

We usually arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so we can get parked, set up, and be ready to start the party on time.

How will the kids know what to do?

That is exactly why we have a Game Coach on board. The Game Coach helps guide the kids, explains what to do, helps with game selection, keeps things moving, and makes sure everyone has a fun and memorable experience.

Is it important for me to consider the kinds of video games suitable for children?

Yes. If you have concerns about specific games, age-appropriate content, or what your child is allowed to play, just let the Game Coach know. We will address those concerns case by case and make sure suitable games are offered for your event. We will always ask for approval for Call of Duty, and Grand Theft Auto.

What happens if there is an unexpectedly large turnout for the party? Will there be an additional fee?

No, there is no strict limit on the number of attendees at your party. However, only a certain number of guests can actively play at one time. For larger events like schools, churches, nonprofits, corporate parties, reunions, festivals, and community events, we can rotate guests through the game truck and additional activities as needed. The operative word here is "UNEXPECTED"

How much does a game truck party cost?

That Game Truck private events start at $500. Nonprofit events start at $550, and corporate events start at $600. We may also offer limited-area specials from time to time depending on the date, distance, and availability.

NO. That Game Truck has a neighborhood friendly quiet generator. We mainly need a safe, fairly flat place to park and enough room for the truck/trailer.

What happens if it rains?
